Neath have boosted their back row resources with the capture of Tata Steel pairing David Griggs and Scott Malone.

David Griggs is already known to Gnoll supporters after appearing on permit in 2017/18 and he has also played for Aberavon. Aside from the normal hard-grafting work in the back row, the 26 year old is a proven try-scorer who should flourish in the Neath pack.

27 year old Llanharan product Scott Malone captained the Steel side last year and, like his colleague, is recognised as one of the most effective operators in the Championship.

Both players have plenty of experience behind them but are at an age where their best years are still to come and their knowledge of the Division will be hugely beneficial.
