WRU Championship Cup holders Neath have been awarded a bye in the first round of this year’s competition.

There is a change of format in the competition which will be a straight knock-out this year rather than the protracted pool-based competition of last year.

Neath along with Ystrad Rhondda have byes in the first round which is scheduled for October 15.
