Neath RFC

Neath play Ystalyfera at The Gnoll on Thursday evening (kick off 7.15pm) in a re-arranged WRU Championship fixture.

The Blacks showed strong running and good passing skills when they beat Penybanc 82-6 last Friday but Neath realise that Ystalyfera (who will be paying their first league visit to The Gnoll) will be a completely different challenge.

With almost a full squad to call upon, the team naturally shows a host of changes as the team focusses again on the WRU Championship.

Former Wales international Aled Brew returns at full back with James Roberts and Louis Rees continuing their comebacks on the wings in a pacy back three,

Captain Ryan Evans partners Ben Atkins in the centre with Steff Williams and Nicky Griffiths resuming their partnership at half-back.

Jack Powell and Gareth Lloyd prop either side of leading try-scorer Sion Crocker with Sam Langford and Jon Barley packing down behind.

Elis Hopkins, Morgan Kneath and Owain Morgan make up the back row.
