NEATH GETTING READY

Despite the inclement weather, Neath RFC are fully confident that The Gnoll will be in fine shape for the big Boxing Day clash between the All Blacks and Bonymaen.

Neath have one more training session planned before the team is named on Monday but a few players will be back into contention after missing the win over Cardiff Metropolitan.

Winger Ryan Griffiths and prop Josh Jones are available again while lock Jacob Blackmore will surely come back into consideration after being rested last time.

Also in the mix will be scrum-half Ellis Lewis who was on Wales Under-20’s duty against Scotland.

With a few thousand people heading to The Gnoll, Neath town centre will be busy.

And the Club is poised for a huge effort off the field too – the hospitality suites sold out within half an hour of going on sale in early December and the outside bars and Tuck Shop are geared up for a post-Christmas rush too.

Neath RFC stress that it is NOT an all-ticket match and spectators will be able to pay at the turnstiles  (£10 adults, Under-16’s FREE) and should arrive at 2.15pm at the latest.

People who have bought tickets in advance and season ticket holders are also advised to get there by 2.15pm  – to ease entry by pre-buying tickets, you may do so via the Club web-site:  https://neathrfc.com/tickets
