TEAM NEWS & SUPPORTERS’ INFORMATION – NEATH v CARDIFF METROPOLITAN (AWAY) – FRIDAY, MARCH 17th, 2023 KICK OFF 7.15pm
Neath play their brought forward WRU Championship tie against Cardiff Metropolitan at Cyncoed on Friday evening (kick off 7.15pm) – not 7.30pm as advertised in some quarters.
The students are always good on their own patch and Neath will need to continue their progress from last week when they beat Glamorgan Wanderers 59-nil.
The All Blacks make their usual quota of changes with centre Sean Wilcox, winger Louis Rees and outside-half Steff Williams back. Up front prop Jack Powell, lock Jacob Blackmore and back rowers David Griggs and Dyfan Ceredig return.
Jon Bayliss returns to the replacements’ bench while flanker Elis Hopkins will captain the side in the absence of injured Ryan Evans who strained a hamstring last week.
