NEATH RFC was saddened to hear of the recent passing of former back rower Clive Dyer.
Clive played seven games for Neath – making his debut as a youngster in 1962/63 and a further 6 in 1970/71.
He was from Glynneath but won Welsh Youth honours from Neath Colts and he joined Swansea RFC in 1963, captaining that club in 1968/69.
Clive was a policeman and played regularly for the old Glamorgan Police team which later became South Wales Police.
His brother Robert played scrum-half for the Welsh Secondary Schools from Neath Grammar School and also captained Swansea and the Neath club’s sympathies go to Clive’s family and friends.
