Neath RFC

At just after 7pm on Saturday evening a huge roar erupted in the Neath RFC Clubhouse.

It came when centre Keiran Williams entered the fray at Twickenham as a second-half replacement for Nick Tompkins.

Now Neath RFC folk hold nothing in particular against Tompkins – but they hold Keiran Williams in the very highest regard.

For, in his 42 appearances so far for Neath, Keiran has never given less than 100 per cent and he long ago established himself as a real favourite among the Neath supporters.

Alas, Wales did not quite get the result as George Ford’s late penalty edged it for England at 19-17.

Disappointment for Wales but at Neath RFC there was only elation for Keiran’s first cap – congratulations Keiran from all at Neath RFC !
