Neath RFC

All at Neath RFC are delighted that scrum-half Ellis Lewis has been named in the Wales Under-20 squad to travel to the World Cup in Italy.

Ellis is the only uncapped player named and is the only player from a WRU Premiership club chosen for what will be a tough challenge with Wales drawn alongside Argentina, France and Spain.

The 30-man squad includes 10 players from outside Wales making Ellis’ achievement all the more laudable.

Neath RFC secretary Mike Price said, “We all congratulate Ellis on his selection. He has worked hard at his game after some initial disappointments and deserves to succeed. As a Club, we continue to develop players and everybody at The Gnoll wishes Ellis well and we will all be willing him on.”
