Neath RFC

Try hat-tricks by scrum-half Kaydn Davies and by centre Sam Harris set up an experimental young Neath side for a convincing win over Gorseinon in the opening match of The Gnoll season.
Lock Jacob Blackmore led a Neath XV which started with seven debutants but Championship side Gorseinon fought gamely enough, offered more than the score-line suggests and they fully earned their try by lock Alun Evans which Emrys Jones converted.
Referee Mr. Carwyn Sion (Cimla) kept the play flowing as Neath scored 9 tries in all, the other scores coming from flanker Will Pope, replacement wing Owain Clarke and outside-half Llew Smith who converted four, Jacob Skeels goaling two – all the points therefore fell to newcomers.
Neath’s next game will be at home to London Welsh on Saturday, August 23(kick off 3.00pm).
