After Wales’ “em-Paris-ment” on Friday, Neath and Newcastle Emlyn put a few smiles on Welsh rugby faces at The Gnoll in an entertaining game.
Neath leap-frogged inactive Merthyr into second place in the WRU Premiership with this 8 tries to 1 win over lowly the West Walians who were paying their first visit to The Gnoll.
home tries came from scrum-half Connor Tantum (2), flanker Casey Williams (2), full back Iestyn Morgan, winger Matthew Jenkins, and replacements outside-half George Richards and lock Matthew Davies with Steff Williams converting seven.
Newcastle Emlyn got the first try of the game through Llyr Jones, converted by Steff Evans who also kicked two penalties.
