Neath RFC is delighted to confirm that powerful back row forward Ben Williams has re-signed for the 2025/26 season. Ben truly stamped his authority on the squad last season during his first year as club captain. Known for his uncompromising physicality and tireless work rate, he led from the front every time he pulled on the black jersey. Head Coach Tim Ryan summed it up perfectly: “Ben leads from the front, puts his head where some wouldn't put their foot. But most important is that he's a good bloke for the group and drives standards on the pitch by showing the boys the way.” A proud Swansea Valley product and former Cwmtawe School student, Ben has come through the ranks with Vardre, Ystradgynlais and Ystalyfera before making his mark at The Gnoll. He wears his heart on his sleeve and is the kind of player every squad wants in the trenches. As we look ahead to a fiercely competitive Admiral Premiership campaign, having Ben back in the mix is a major boost, bringing leadership, edge and total commitment to the badge. We also want to give a huge shoutout to his player sponsor Boz, a loyal and ever-present figure at the club.
