Neath RFC welcomes OLLIE REES to The Gnoll.

20 year old prop forward Ollie Rees joins from Swansea having also played for Merthyr and he will boost Neath’s prop resources where Jack Powell, Gareth Lloyd and Tim Ryan have borne the brunt over the past two seasons.

Neath coach Patrick Horgan said, “We were a bit light in the front row last year and, of course, we will need six front-rowers every week in the Premiership.

“Ollie is a young tight head specialist who we see a lot of potential in. He comes from a Neath family, has all the attributes required and we will be looking to develop him into a real Neath-type forward.”
