Neath RFC

Neath, as expected, were comfortable winners when they entertained Penybanc of Division 5 West Central in a centenary-celebration match under The Gnoll floodlights on Friday.

Penybanc brought an enthusiastic following with them but it was the Blacks who made most of the running.

All told, Neath crossed for 12 tries from winger Ryan Griffiths (3), flanker and captain Elis Hopkins (2), hooker Evan Kneath (2), full back Louis Rees, winger James Roberts, centre Sean Wilcox, outside-half Rhys Harris and scrum half Luc Jones.

Rhys Harris (8) and replacement Steff Williams (3) kicked conversions while Penybanc were rewarded with two penalties by outside-half Ceri Jones and replacement Dan Mason.
