Neath advanced to the semi-final of the WRU Championship Cup and a tie against Pontypool on March 25 after a solid if unspectacular win over Trebanos.

Forward tries by hooker Josh Clark, prop Jack Powell, flanker Elis Hopkins and a 13th for the season by replacement Sion Crocker earned Neath the spoils with conversions added by outside-half Steff Williams (2) and his replacement Rhys Harris.

Full back Willis Wood landed a penalty for Trebanos who trailed 12-3 at half-time but never gave up the cause.
