Former Trebanos outside-half Rhys Harris has joined Neath RFC.

The 18 year old brick-layer made his debut on permit in last Friday’s 42-nil win at Brynaman and converted all six tries and impressed with his lengthy touch-finding and general play too.

Coach Patrick Horgan said, “We were very pleased with all the youngsters last week. Rhys comes with Trebanos’ blessing and we will look to continue his development both as an individual and within the team context.

“Rhys is an ambitious player and we are an ambitious club. He is young and his best years are clearly ahead of him and he can learn much from Steff Williams who already has well over 100 points for us this season. We look forward to seeing him develop with us.”
