Neath RFC’s congratulations go to former flanker Steve Tandy on his appointment as Wales’ national coach from September 1.

Steve made 74 appearances in the back row for Neath RFC before joining the Ospreys and many feel that he would have won a Wales cap were it not for an untimely injury.

After a spell coaching in Australia, he has recently been Scotland’s defence coach and all at The Gnoll wish him every success in his new post.
