Neath RFC

WRU Championship leaders Neath visit Tata Steel on Saturday (kick off 2.30pm).

Although Neath have visited Tata before, it will be their first league visit to the Margam-based club as the two previous meetings were at The Gnoll in Covid-affected seasons.

Tata have re-gathered their forces and last week did well at Trebanos where they led late into the game – so the Blacks will not be under-estmating the challenge that awaits them.

Neath have some key players back among a handful of changes for the game. Skipper Ryan Evans is away on a school trip so Jonny Bayliss teams up with Sean Wilcox at centre while Jay Weaver takes over at scrum-half.

Up front, Neath are reinforced by prop Gareth Lloyd, hooker Josh Clark, lock Sam Martin and back rower Morgan Kneath. Flanker Owain Morgan captains the side.
