Neath RFC

On Thursday 17th August, Neath RFC was pleased to welcome Tim Tunnicliff to The Gnoll as part of his “GREAT RUGGER RUN” raising vital funds for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation and other MND causes along the way.

This epic 25-day run around the rugby clubs of Wales and Gloucestershire kicked off on 9th August in St David’s – Wales’ most-westerly point.

Then heading west, visiting as many clubs as he can, meeting Welsh rugby folk before crossing the border into Gloucestershire and finishing at the club where he started playing – Cheltenham RFC on September 2nd.

Tim hopes to run 1,000kms or 1 Million Metres.
Tim’s schedule for the day was as follows:

9:00 – Morriston > 9:30 (3.97)

10:00 – Birchgrove > 10:10 (7.65)

10:30 – Skewen > 10:45 (11.1)

11:10 – Neath Athletic > 11:20 (11.9)

11:30 – Neath > 12:15 (14.3) 

12:45 – Tonna > 13:30 (18.3)

14:00 – Cimla > 14:10 (21.4)

14:30 – Briton Ferry > 14:40 (24)

15:00 – Baglan > 15:45 (28.2)

16:15 – Aberavon Harlequins > 17:00 (30)

17:15 – Aberavon > 18:00 (31.4)

18:15 – Taibach
